I guess I am new here and new owner of an X5...

I ask myself why it took me so long to figure out american cars aren't the end all meet all... I used to be all about domestic cars.... up until I met this german lady... she changed my heart, she got pissed at me because I almost bought an escalade instead of her... what a mistake it would have been

anywho.... meet Ms 2005 BMW X5 4.8is

she is a classy lady in the parking lot but a beast in the streets... just the way I like em

I was reading your thread about the transfailsafe... that's scary... I hope it turns out ok at the indy dealership

Thanks GX5NY...looks like i may be joining your club soon. I'm leaning towards upgrading to a silver on black 4.8is, as an alternative to rebuilding or ordering a new trany.

Welcome and nice ride. I actually almost bought a silver one like that. However, the car had some probs and I got the one I wanted in the end! Watch out for the bug!

you can't go wrong with a 4.8is... trust me.. I am overwhelmed by the options this baby has

Congrats, nice looking X. As I said to another new member JT///MC just recently the 4.8's are the nuts. I'm sure you're beside yourself over your new purchase. As they say, 'Let the mods begin'.
