Vent control lighting in dark?

Are the vent controls suppose to light up when driving in dark?

None of mind vent controls light up when driving in the dark. Even, the manual temperature control does not light up for both the front and back controls.

Any help is appreciated.

Cheers

I've been dropping notes up in this mofo for a while now.

I always try my best to help n assist my "fellow" comrades in need of info.
As they say, in time wounds will heal, but the scars remain for life.

Anyway,
All kidding aside. All is well up here. Fam and friends are all doing very good.
I’ve been really busy with just about everything. But I always find time to add a little here n there to me whip. Enjoy the tease pic.

Actually it's the Bi-Color wheel w/SMG paddle for the "Individual" M3.

32-34-8-022-324
(Mind you, very difficult to obtain as oppose to other Individual parts.
I’m still waiting for a few more item(s) before displaying the entire layout.

I've looked into getting the newer 05+ M5/6 steering wheels but the plugs and wiring are totally different and will not work without some serious tricky retro-fitting.
