Silent alarm

Suddenly by 2001 X5 alarm became silent. I tried to work with the remote, but still silent. It works fine except no sound... any body can please help???

Are you talking about the beep sound? If yes, then one of the doors is not closed properly. Or the trunk

Actually I tried that, but still no beep sound!! Do u think it may be the alarm speaker?

It could be not seeing something as closed (likely the damn hood switch) Or it could be the internal battery of the siren dead as the alarm control module is built into the siren itself, which has an internal battery in case the theif tries disconnecting the battery, it still goes off. Tries cutting it out and throwing it acros a field, it is still going off! But either way, there would likely be related faults stored in the alarm memory that can be read by the dealer or any shop with a GT1.
