Brake Sensors? How Many?
I have a 2001 X5 3.0i. I am shopping for brakes and can't figure out how many brake sensors are on my car so I can do my brake job. I have one seller saying there are only 2, 1 front 1 rear. And another seller saying there are 2 in rear and 2 in front. So what is the correct answer? Please help? thanks. |

I just did the brakes on my 05 4.4i. It had one per axle (2 total). Driver-front and passenger-rear.
Unless you already got the "check brake lining" message, you can re-use the existing sensors. |
