a lot of members have reported the same problem, do a Search for "Folding Mirror Problem" and you should find some idea how to 'diy' it...

thanks man. damn i this is kind of annoying i really was happy about having that function! I suck at this kind of stuff I'm gonna print out the instructions and ask my mechanic to take a shot at it.

I came rediculously close to buying a 4.6L is in that blue also but since I already have an E36 M3 that colour, I thought it might be too much so I went black. Now had I still had my Black M3, chances are I would have bought the blue X5. I had no idea that wood trim was even an option. I thought they all came with alluminum trim.

As for being able to play movies on your nav screen, if you have a link for that mod, can you post that? I'm looking for something like that.

I also started painting my calipers in preperation for my summer rims. I will be posting pics when complete.

You just need to buy the tv tuner module and either a dvd player to accompany it or an ipod direct hookup. The BMW tv tuner will give you an option on the nav screen when it's hooked up!
