Joking aside, that's the VCR mounted in the trunk/boot that was an option for the rear entertainment system before DVD's came into the scene. There is a guy on the board who bought an X5 with one installed and has been asked a few times to post pictures of it, I won't name names ..... bjr7141 ..... but so far has blown us off.

Yep. He had a CCV problem. Posted it. Had 10 people give him great advice. And off he went. When he comes back to make his 2nd post, when something else craps out that he doesn't have a clue on, I'm gonna hold his answers hostage until he forks over some photos.
