Another good company to use (I haven't personally tried yet) is www.ddmtuning.com. Depending on shipping, since the company is based in CA, they could be cheaper for people closer to the Best Coast. Only problem is that DDM charges $15 plus additional shipping for error cancelors, while HIDextra gives them out for free as long as you ask for them at checkout. After it's all said and done, HIDextra may still be the best pricing for BMW owners, but DDM for vehicles that don't have OBC's. |
I personally have used DDM for 3 sets, and every time they are great. Shipping to NJ is slow, however, but the product works and has a lifetime warranty, so no complaints here.
I also did as close to OEM as possible in my fogs, however, I plugged the power harness in inside of the housing, to the positive piece, then crimped the negative wire onto the harness, followed by soldering that connection. As far as mounting was concerned, I stuck them to the inside of the bumper, which did not hold up at all, so when I changed out my headlight bulbs, I zip tied the error canceller and ballast together, then zip tied the package to an open spot under the headlights. The light output is insane.
