If I remember correctly, that's what Mo and I did. We connected the ground to the post with the brown wire. We just pried it, stuck the wire in and re-crimped I think. We didn't have to mod the harness.

However, his HID kit was different (from Angelibright) and cost waaay more. I have the same kit as this but 6000K and I needed the code-cancelling thing.

Great write-up ... definitely put effort into it! Looks great!

Looks good Kev! Nice job. Did you do the 35W kit or the 55W?

I wonder if the capacitor kit would help with the flickering, or if you need to run these babies directly to the battery via the relay harness they sell?

Thanks Chris. I got the 35W kit with slim ballasts. I did have to get the capacitors (pictured below) to resolve the flickering. It was an extra $40. Oh well. They work well now.

I second that motion...

I got my 6000k h3 bulbs for free...had to pay for the digital ballasts though from AIB.


This was a fun mod to do last summer.

I have to change out one of my bulbs as it just shit the bed....not even a year...
