LOL! Moh - great looking face!!

I second that motion...

I got my 6000k h3 bulbs for free...had to pay for the digital ballasts though from AIB.

This was a fun mod to do last summer.

I have to change out one of my bulbs as it just shit the bed....not even a year...

DKL is correct. That's how I did mine. The H3 bulbs have the same connecter on one side, the other side we crimped on the existing post. It will plug right back into the existing harness.

Looks good though and nice write up!

Great write up. Thanks for detailed pictures and instructions.

I have the regular halogen light headlights, and have been thinking about either replacing the headlight bulbs with HID units, and/or replacing the fog lights with HID units as you have done here. In both cases, I am worried that the light might be too 'offensive' to the oncoming traffic or the traffic that I am behind of.

Any input on these concerns will be appreciated.

Putting HIDs in your regular halogen headlight setup might cause glare issues to oncoming traffic.

If you have projectors in your foglights then HIDs should not be an issue(speaking from personal experience). Also, according to Jose (twinspoppa) putting HIDs in foglights won't be an issue if you don't have projectors, because you can point it down.

Looks good Kev! Nice job. Did you do the 35W kit or the 55W?

I wonder if the capacitor kit would help with the flickering, or if you need to run these babies directly to the battery via the relay harness they sell?

Chris
