fluid extractor
I have a sealeys oil extractor which i use on my dads cars for oil changes, not on my X5 But i was wondering if i could use the extractor on the coolant to then put new coolant in and also in the ATF power steering res to change that. It just seems like it could be a quicker way to change these fluids without the hassle of plugs ect. Also i need to lub or grease the steering shaft lower bearing. Am i right in thinking i need to lift it and take of the floor panelling to access this Thanks |

i just read a thread yesterday on lower bearing so it won`t be far away , as for oil extractor ,i would drain fluid to remove any settled sediment from systems .
