Welcome. Great looking X . Nice mods. Does your X5 have a power adapter on the passenger footwell? Would keep the charger out of your way and pictures.

m5james - I see your two-day time-out did nothing. This is the last time I will clean up a thread because of you. Do not bring your personal issues with Law and his company into a thread that is not about them. Final warning. Permanent ban will be next.

Thanks, I was just curious because I thought the mounts were cool and would work well for someone w/ active headrests. Headrest DVD recommednation - bimmerfest - BMW Forums After looking at the Alpine version again, I'd rather get something that can play DVD's individually so each kid can watch their own movie. Any headrest mounted TV/DVD simply requires lifting them up and out, so I don't think that Alpine kit is any harder or easier to steal that anyone elses. After someone broke into my M5 and literally took the entire console - OBD, heater controls and all, I've learned that if they want it, they'll get it.

I guess I should have been clearer. The security covers on the Invision screens make it look quite stealth. I suppose you could fashion a custom set to fit over the headrest AND the Alpine screens, but it might end up looking like the hunchback of Dingolfing.

While I've never seen either the ebay or the ones you mentioned in person, the ebay ones have an optional zipper cover on someone feels the need to hide them as well. With the positive reviews I've read, and being 1/7th the cost w/ more built-in features, I know which ones I'm going to get.

The powers that be have given me notice that I'm not allowed to express my opinion of vendors in any shape or form whatsoever. The fact that you were referring their product and why your post still got deleted is a good question. Maybe its my fault since you quoted my opinion in your reply. Oh well.

I thought about that as well when I installed my F90BT. I've been considering doing what MrBMWX5 did w/ his wood trim pieces and cover them if a CF wrap. Other than my screen saying Premier on the bottom, I figured wrapping the bezel to match the trim would make it all blend in and look stock.
