Looks kind of ghetto. The leather doesn't match. Doesn't look professionally designed. Doesn't really belong in a BMW. Parts of it look crooked--maybe that's just the picture. Need to find or make a bezel that looks like it is a part of the car. Just my $.02.

i am also looking to add one nav into my 01 x5
a aftermarket one from here
and i was looking for the plastic that goes arrownd and the harness also for the sterring control harness,,
i only found the plastic,and the harness from the stereo,,but not the sterring harness,,anyone knows where i can find those?

This one wins so far. It is by far the most professional and OE looking, imo. It would be just about perfect if the seam in the middle of the bezel matched up with the seam from dash better though.

No offense but I had to keep going back and re-read this original post as I thought it was a joke. That looks, er, is really ghetto and I couldn't imagine looking at it every time I jumped in the car. You car looks awesome except for that eye sore. Chicklets are less expensive than teeth but you would save money there would you? Spend the extra $$ and get some designed for the dash like FSETH suggested. Just my .02
