2 questions from a new guy

Please feel free to post links if I missed during my search...

1. Sometimes when I start the car the climate control will turn on by itself. I always turn it off before I shut off the car. Its random and doesnt do it all the time, any thoughts?

2. I set all 3 positions on my seat memory to the same position where I like it, sometime when I start the car it starts moving on its own to another position...again, its not all the time, just sometimes...any thought?

Thanks

1. its not the FSR, its the bmw thing. it will always be on if you dont turn it off but you have to turn it off with engine running and in park "every time".
2. the seat and mirror is programmed to your key. if you set it at a preferred setting when you drive most of the time, it will stay programmed that way. if you or your spouse other key then it will set to that specific key. practice this, set it to your liking "not the memory buttons" then drive it for at least 3 days with that setting. it will return to that setting whenever you use that key.
