Don't worry, I don't think any X5s went anyways...lol. I don't think there are any X5 meets in SoCal. Its not really an enthusiast car. Maybe we can have a 4.6is/4.8is meet. That would be more enthusiast oriented maybe?

I would be down for an X5 IS meet. I'm on my 2nd one now. My first was totalled and I recently aquired another tight ass 4.6is....nothing like closure...

We should get a group and role to "coffee and cars" in orange county. I think its every Saturday, early like 6 am or 7 am hence the coffee part.

RRATS4 got any pics or vids of you Dinan goods on the X. I currently on a quest of Dinan goods myself to add to my 4.6.

Yes, you might have seen this before, but it is/was my first X5 I bought from my friend Kirk...it was destroyed just over a year ago when a stoned motorcyclist drifted into my lane and hit me head on at about 70mph on a local mtn road while i was coming home from....RIP

So you are the guy my friend told me of. I remember that X5 from a local meet at Victoria Gardens back in 04/5. The guy who owned it first owned a furniture store right? Anyways, my buddy at Savage BMW installed that Dinan SC kit. It was like $15k for the kit alone I remember him telling me. Anyways, long story short, my buddy mentioned to me that the PO sold the car to someone and then the new owner was hit head on by a motorcyclist on Ortega Hwy. He said something about the cyclist going through the center and exiting the rear quarter window. Crazy.

Oh yes, I have seen on you tube. You need to get some more vids of your new X in action and some exhaust sound in there. Those headlights are sweet. Did you buy those or are they stockers cleared and modified?

Would love to upgrade to S3 but I am going to have to settle for S2.

Yep...that's me....it was and still is a continuing nightmare for me, it's far from over. I was just minding my own business and tooling home from work back to OC, it was a beautiful early evening and I just had the roof open and didn't even have the radio on and all of a sudden....KABOOM...I woke up shortly afterwards...
