Weasel will become famous soon enough
Tinting the headlights weren't really a thought when I originally planned this mod, and wasn't planned to be that dark... And I didn't think of blacking out the grilles until the headlights were installed and the titan trim grilles stood out like a sore thumb. (I remember the days on ebay when I could choose between matte black, gloss black, gunmetal/black chrome and full chrome grilles, now it seems like only flat is available)

I may consider doing the wheels in gunmetal when I'm due for tires, and may also consider the dark gray or black 215's, possibly in 21's if I have the extra funds for it.

i agree

Nice X weasel so unique... I should say however that being so dark, the lines were almost masked out, and at first you find it hard to identify what this blacky is... maybe it adds up to the dark mysterious character that you created....

+1 for gunmetal, and about the contrast thing, since you went so far in being extremist in black, i think the contrast is irrelevent, it's better to keep going to the extreme and have it all blacked out...

In brief, a highly controversial and daring design that stimulates the thinking and feeling of X5 lovers and anthusiasts...

NOOOOO!!!!!! Weasel, hold to your guns. Keep them silver. The contrast is what makes your X stand out from all the rest. Look at all the other blacked out X's and your stands way above them..... Gunmetal or black rims will just knock your X of the top, so hold tight, and keep the silver.

ooooops!!! just realized this is a hold thread...... but still keep the silver

Yeah, I did definitely decide to keep them silver. And re-confirm that with myself everytime I wash her and see the wheels all cleaned up and shiny again.

If I did anything with the wheels it would be leaving those 87s alone and putting on some wicked aftermarket wheels, but that may not ever happen honestly.

I was trying to get some good shots for HDR editing, but I really need a tripod for that...... they all were skewed enough to mess up the edges, and the wind blowing through the trees also made them look funky. So no HDR, just normal.
And to kinda pis me off, when I got home I looked at her front end, and the drivers side AE's were off. Figures out the ballast went out........ damn things were new! So now I got the relay for them unplugged so she's not winking at everyone on the road.

So really dude - a cemetery? Just a little bit creepy... Although I guess Halloween is coming up

Some shots late in the eve would be pretty wicked
