I can't keep up....the guy's truck with the M badges in the "went skiing" post is "getto" to you, but this truck with virtually identical mods, aside from different (yet equally chromed) wheels, is "one of the nicest"?

You guys really confuse me sometimes.

This one is a little less pimped than the one in the other thread. The chrome wheels appear to be OEM style, the door/window trim is not body colored, there are no M badges and the license plates are not doubled up.

I will say that this is no where near the best looking X though, IMO. I personally prefer the look of the standard 4.6is 4.8is aero kit better than this one.

ok, fair enough....I'm in the 4.6/4.8 club myself as far as preferences go. My point was that the two I referenced were close enough mod-wise that it didn't make a lot of sense to bag on one while thinking the other was the "best looking" one. Opinions are funny things though I suppose.......

Both the cars you're talking about have more OE BMW stuff on them than aftermarket so I wouldn't go as far as calling either ghetto. They clearly have the BMW aero kits which BMW AG clearly felt there was a market for.

Just to be clear---I'm the only one who's been talking about both cars, and I didn't call either ghetto....perhaps I didn't make my point well.

I got what you were saying. There are enough similarities between the two that it seems strange that one person would call one "ghetto" and the other the best ever. I was just adding that this one was a little more stock looking.

I'm sorry but I just cannot stand the mono color look like that. I HATE the factory aero kit and anything aftermarket that looks close. The 4.6/4.8is trim is the only appearance mod I would ever consider because everything else makes it look bloated and takes away all the aggressive lines. I mean come on - you have to admit that thing looks like marshmallow!!

I am not a fan of that aero kit at all. I know that it is OEM, but that doesn't make it good looking.

...crap! I just ratted myself out to the OP of the other thread where I said it looked good. Oh well...
