Thumbs down Ugh. Got the front end fixed, now the fan is kaput.

Couldn't get the heat to come on tonight. No fan. I can hear the vents moving when I change the vent settings and the compressor works for the a/c. I just have no air moving. The fan has been chirping a bit lately, but only for a few seconds when it's cold.

Anyone ever replace a fan motor? A quick search points to a final stage resistor (FSR). Big bucks or what?

EDIT: Actually the DIY on it looks pretty easy. Although for me, DIY stands for Destroy It Yourself.
