Car in getting Fixed

Had to get my x5 towed to the dealership today was driving along and it just stopped (has petrol ) hoping its not going to be off the road to long or cost to much to fix

Maybe the alternator has gone south. Good luck and let us how you get on. Do you warranty cover ??

Its weird the car runs for about 1 minute then cuts out
NRMA came out (no idea) towed it to the local BMW dealer
find out tomorrow i guess what's wrong
And yes do have warranty

after market warranty? At least you have that as a back up. should help the cause.

It was the alternator BMW want $3495 to replace. So i got it taken to a Auto Electrician can fix it for $2100 same parts after market warranty will cover $1400 and dealer that i brought it from is covering the rest

Ouch $2100 to fix a alternator. i remember i had to replace the alternator on a Magna and it was around $600.

BMW think that they can charge what ever they want i guess
they also quoted $1795 for the passenger side mirror
