are you sure it is ABS module? if 100% sure, there are guys on ebay which offer complete rubild for it (you send them your ABS module,+ pay money for service, and get back in a day or so back completely rebuild module). It is much cheaper than buy new one. Or you can find some used one on ebay, but you will need mostlikely to reprogramm it at dealer.

Thanks, yeah i scanned it with my diagnostic,

trans was in limp mode and since i took out the module i can drive properly again, problem is the lights on the cluster and no speedo.
As i live in Australia, are those repair guys good? last thing i need is for it to be lost in transit or otherwise.

cheers

yeah,if speedo not working and stuff you described before it is definetely ABS module. if you lvie in Australia,it will cost you alot to ship and etcd. better buy used one from ebay. also it is pain in a butt to wait so long fo rshipping and not safe to drive with no ABS. buy used, then fix your car by that. ship your old one to repair on ebay, they a legit as far as i know, and then sell your rebuilt one ;-)

Hey there - try these guys: ModuleMaster rebuilds ABS modules for as low as $100, 2 day average turn-around, 5 Year Guarantee. I believe they are selling rebuilt and repaired modules. Hopefully they have one for your vehicle. I looked for a 2002 X5 and it retailed at 300USD. They also warranty the work for 5 years and upgrade the components.
