Angel eye Mod for 2005

I have a 2005 4.4 with adaaptive headlights, I want to have the the DRL's turned off and the angel eyes on and brighter during the day. I have read the DYI on DRL's delete but still having the CPO warrenty makes me a little weary on splicing harnesses. I also read in a post that using a programming computer you can delete the DRL's if that's possible maybe i can convince dealer to re-program if not is there a simple method that i can carry out that is reversable.
So what is needed to get the angel eyes on during the day and what bulbs do I need to have them visable during the day. There are alot of bulb manufactures making claims but you guys have the experience (no faults and reliablity issues).

Thanks

2 easy steps.

1. have your dealer shut off your daytime running lights. They will charge you for a half hour of labor 60 bucks down here in the states..

2. www.angelibright.com

best aftermarket solution to upgrade your AE's.....quite a bunch here have done this.... I ahave a solution from them for a pre facelift.....good stuff!!

i'm not sure if youe were asking to run your AE's as DRL's ..if that is the case.. you may be out of luck......but you could for sure have your AE's turned off and then get your AE"s on....The dealer is the only way to go to get them shut off...believe me I know......unless Twinspoppa is making a road trip to canada...(forum member with the "dealer type software")

Thanks Richirich for the quick reply, My goal is to delete the DRL's and have the Angel eyes on, like the current year X.
By the way Angelibright doesn't seem to make a bulb for my year. The drop down menu doesn't cover 2004-2006 X?

JMFTOR, you're probably going to have a tough time convincing a Canadian dealer to turn off your DRLs as they are a legal requirement on Canadian vehicles.

re Angel eyes always on, Twinspoppa have that setup but i think his AE's were hardwired to something. PM him for more details, he'll surely have answers to your questions.

Another vote for the AiB kits, you'll immediately know what they're the best.

Don't worry. Those are the ONLY years that have OE angel eyes. Their heading is incorrect that's all.
