thanks for the link / info. however, i've been trying to see if this bulb has a different name. i'd like to order from 1157 1156 Superlumination.com leds (Automotive Replacement Light Bulbs, Headlights, Foglights & Lamps) as I am also ordering my license bulbs from here.

You got any good quality before n after night time pics so we can see the difference, which I'm sure is quite noticeable ??

gotcha thanks!

- one other quick question - do you know the overall length of the bulb? curious if the housing has a maximum length bulb that it will fit, or can the housing support multiple lengths, but need the proper diameter?

OH Sweet! I want to change mine out! I think the PO put in BLUE lights which don't seem to light up anything. VERY dim! I'm all for even just the stock bulb or amber!

Bulb changing
How difficult is it to remove the housing on the side view mirror, your pics shows that you can just pull it out, are there any scrrews?
