Hi TA...
A lil'confused, but hey it's late & I'm older.
My replacement front pads & rotors were std issue BMW
parts, by the BMW dlr. My wobble has been there before
that R&R, and soon after. They are not no/low dust pads
in my case, to my knowledge.

Of course, almost 2 years later, when my Indie went through
the front end, they could not dupe the wobble; it takes some
miles/time and high speed, after a cold start, before it sets in.

Not a fan of slotted or drilled rotors, (other than the stock ones
on my m'cycles), as I think the "cleaning effect" is slim to none
on street cars. But, if you like 'em!

I am not giving up and hope to have this resolved/fixed by mid May,
after we get back to less hot, less density living, lol!

Turnaround:

Glad to hear you have tried the standard remedies, sorry it hasn't worked to date.

I just don't agree that it is because of no-dust pads. It may be because of the friction characteristics of your pads vis a vis your rotors (not sure if you have reground the rotors with a crosshatch pattern). I have used three sets of Axxis Deluxe pads in recent memory on my own vehicles, and many more sets than that on customer vehicles when the pads were called PBR-Repco. No history of problems.

I would personally replace the rotors with ones with a different surface finish, without slots or drill holes, before going to slotted/drilled rotors. Just my $0.02.

If it isn't a pulsing pedal, but rather a shimmy on braking, and usually speed-dependent, then I would be searching through the front suspension looking for something that was just a little loose, suspecting that the brakes were setting it off and not causing it in and of themselves. Pretty much what MD described.

Good luck with the search.
