Even if not, after batts are charged overnight and you leave tender connected during programming you should be fine while tender is set to full charging mode

It does
not have a constant power supply mode. I think the safer option is letting charge all night then quickly code it with the charger disconnected to avoid any voltage spikes.

Honestly a basic manual battery charger at 10 amps should work just fine for coding and DME updates. I'm picking up one from Amazon for under $50 (Schumacher brand)

This model only outputs 4.3 amps on some modes and even less during analysis and maintain mode.

Yes, you are correct. See above. Many have mentioned of not using a battery charger period when doing simple coding with NCS, which is not time consuming. So I think as long as its fully charged prior to coding, then I should be OK to code without it plugged in.
