Gonna paint my Door handles. quick question first
Look at this diagram
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...20&hg=51&fg=50 Does part 7 just pop off? Or is it screwed in from behind? Does the door handle come off without removing the door panel or does it screw in from behind? Thanks, diagram is not too clear.

Part 7 DOES pop off. Just gently use a flat head screwdriver and it should come off relatively easily.
The door panel does need to be removed as the handles are screwed into a bracket (part 8, I believe) on the back of the panel. Sorry I couldn't be more specific.
