Back on topic...

I'll give you one, got alignment done years ago (not an X5 btw) at a tire shop and <10,000 miles later a BMW dealer tells me I need new rear tires because the wear is horrible (one worn in the middle, another on an inner edge). Never noticed anything strange in driving the car.

See Les Schwab has this all planned out. When do you typically get an alignment? Spring/Summer, approximately 10,000 miles later (see roughly February). Oh crap I need new tires! WOW, I will get them at Les Schwab, I get free beef when I buy them! Its really a viscous cycle.

Mike, I know you want some free beef, maybe you could drive up to the Modesto/Stockton area when you need new tires and cash in. Be sure to bring a cooler though!
