Just Changed Spark plugs and found oil on 2 plugs on my 4.6

I must have imagined oil on the plug itself. Good catch Weasel. If your valve cover gasket is done you might just check out the separator for obvious issues, just to make sure the gasket died of natural causes.

I got a quote from a local indy shop. Friend has been going to this place for years. I was quoted $508 and that includes the gaskets and numerous other gaskets listed on the estimate. I am going to have the valve covers sand blasted and painted as well. The paint is peeling both inside and out of these things.

Also the driver side valve cover has black paint on it and the passenger side just the goldish paint which is flaking off. Whats this about?
