Looking
Looking to buy a new X5  and new to this forums. I have read that a lot of the members work/own dealerships so just wanted you valuable input on the following car. Reading through some posts I feel this car is way over-priced but I might be wrong.Also it seems to have the the low-tech cluster which I thought was phased out in 2004. 2005 BMW X5 3.0i - Black Thanks

The link has it as 27883 but i think they bought the price down to 25555.

Not sure that we own dealerships...although the knowlwdge base around here would lead one to believe such
 . If you can afford a little more cash out of pocket, get a 4.4i. The additional power is worth it. As for the cluster, it didn't change until the E70.......Phil:xoutpost:........ops, that should say "Our new digs........ Xoutpost"

Thanks for your reply. I was going in for a 4.4 but have heard from many (including the delearship) that the 8 engines are not as bulletproof as the 6's.

Oh and regarding the cluster, I know the whole cluster didn't change but the E53 have a high tech cluster which can be seen in many of the member's picture. What I am referring to is the display with the time, range, etc. is the short one and not the wide one.
