and i was just wondering, isnt that just a 'decorative' skid plate.. so it doesn't really perform like a 'traditional' skid plate?

Like mt said it's a shame their isn't an actual / traditional (and workable) skid plate per se 'cause if you scraped or dragged the bottom on what's on offer, it's down to the paint shop you go. Funny how a pseudo protective part is available on a BMW 4WD vehicle in lieu of something more substantial.

Isn't it nice not having to rock the front license plate in Georgia? Looks much more clean.
