Correct. What will prolong them is making fewer U-turns.

Thanks for looking out. I have a friend thats a BMW/Dinan Tech so he takes care of all my bimmers. I've been lucky in that regards.

As far as seeing any other 4.8is, thats been few and far between. Seems like there are hardly any around! Thats kinda how I like it tho. Very exclusive lot of cars.

perhaps if you only drive in a straight line they will last forever and ever.

YES they will...why do you think no one has ever replaced the rear boots as those wheels alway goes in a straight line

what silicon spray do you use for CV boot to spray ?
(pl be more specific..- couse an attractive idea -good one)

WD 40 isn't a silicone product and wouldn't be as good, but also wouldn't be a bad thing and would be better than nothing.

Run into any major auto parts store and you'll see Silicone Lubricant spray right around where the white lithium spray and wd-40 would normally be found.
