Invisibulbs on facelifted X... HELP!

I tried installing the Invisibulbs (thanks MTX5) on my X corner/park lights tonight. What i thought was a 5 minute job turned into like a 2 hour job

First, the oem ones fell inside the X when i unscrew it so i had to open the fog lights to have an access. After almost an hour, passenger side is okay. Yay!

Went to driver side, with less room to work on, able to unscrew it, replace the bulbs with Invisibulbs, put it back on, no light !

To make the story short, i have Invisibulbs on both sides now but only the passenger side is working. What else can i do to fix the driver side? Any tips on how to remove the whole light assembly?

Help please.

my rear taillight/brake light, was out, replaced it and the housing (saw that the metal had burnt look on one side), nothing, but i pulled it part way out, enough wear its in to a point where it wont fall out, so my advise to you is try adjusting the bulb

im pretty sure its not the bulb since i swapped both sides (bulb and holder) and still the one on the driver side doesnt work.

Anyone had this issue before?

Any tips on how to remove the whole headlight assembly?

Wow .. just saw this thread. Sorry to hear about the probs but glad you got fixed.

I recommend learning how to take off the front bumper. Once you've done it and know what it takes to do it - you'll be taking it off in 15 minutes. Instead of wasting 2 hours trying to force the issue.

Trick with the front bumper is watching out and not breaking the side tabs and also having something to lay down the front bumper temporarily. This way you don't need to diconnect any hoses, wiring or need another person.

Me, I use my kids' toy wagon!
