Urgent!! Water pump question

I just removed my old water pump. Behind the water pump were 2 hoses. Theses hoses connect to the back of the engine. The smaller hose in diameter came off the back of the engine. How do I put it back? I really need your help asap. Thank you

He is still looking for it, because you know, at 4am you don't want to confuse it with a cooking recipie book.

I actually had the little tube come out and I was able to twist it back in without taking anything off. No leaks. Water pump and stuff that normaly is associated with it was my 1st DIY on my X and with a help of some great threads here, it went easy.
.....anyway,

The aluminum pipe (#6) or "hose" as you're describing is held in the cooling system accumulator near the firewall by just an oring (#7). So if you have the pipe off, check the ring, may be a good idea to replace it. Also apply some coolant on the ring to make it easier to push it back in. ...and I know, it will be rough to work with only an inch or so to grab onto.

If you don't have the luck that ARTRIGA did, it's going to be a real pain. In that case, you will have to take the fuel rail and intake manifold off. If you're taking the intake manifold at the end, you should do the valley pan gasket as well.
