who cares if its oem or replica. you wouldn't be able to tell when its on there. personally if someone can make the exact samething but doesn't originate from a company that has the letters "b" "m" and "w" on the receipt for cheaper, count me in.

I just can't see myself dropping a grand on some pieces of plastic/fiberglass that aren't even painted. I'm still going to keep looking, but I'm being patient and waiting for that deal to come along.

I, for one care. The replica never has the same fitment and material build quality. I am particular about certain things like this, I gsuppose you arent.

The person that is installing it will be able to tell right away also. OEM will most likely not need to be modified in any shape of form, the replica is more likely then not need to be. The oem piece generally fits and flexes like it should, really following the lines of the body better. There are even more advantages that I don't really need to get into. Good luck on finding that right "deal" for you.

Trust me on this, the modding world is not limited to OEM stuff. and here you are talking about the 4 little plastic pieces which happen to be under the car the whole time. flexes? lines of the body? come on. if you are a OEM guy, then you are not the MODDING guy, the reverse is also true. You dont put on OEM stuff and call it a MOD. the reverse is also true. Anyway, I am an E60, E53, W164, R171 guy.

But whatever lightwerkz said is right too.
We just havent seen any reps of 4.6is kit on the market yet so dont know how the quality and fitment will be.
