The person that is installing it will be able to tell right away also. OEM will most likely not need to be modified in any shape of form, the replica is more likely then not need to be. The oem piece generally fits and flexes like it should, really following the lines of the body better. There are even more advantages that I don't really need to get into. Good luck on finding that right "deal" for you.

Trust me on this, the modding world is not limited to OEM stuff. and here you are talking about the 4 little plastic pieces which happen to be under the car the whole time. flexes? lines of the body? come on. if you are a OEM guy, then you are not the MODDING guy, the reverse is also true. You dont put on OEM stuff and call it a MOD. the reverse is also true. Anyway, I am an E60, E53, W164, R171 guy.
