Transmission coolant leak - looking for advice

About 2 years ago I noticed a leak in the trans coolant to radiator area. Replaced the o rings yet the leak is slowed but is still there. Looking for advice on what parts to replace to fix this concern. Its in the passenger side on the bottom of the radiator. Hope the picture helps but its hard to get a good shot of the problem.

A new tank and mounting plate. Plus a transmission coolant thermostat and cooler seals. I just replaced mine. Use a pressure tester to find the leak. A mirror and flashlight work great. New o rings would only be a temporary fix.

Also note that the flanges on the cooler o-rings can easily be twisted, bent,etc on installation causing small leaks if not installed squarely.... Guess how I found this out!!

Silicon grease (on the coolant connections only) goes a long way to insuring the o-rings slide without getting twisted out of shape. I replaced all my stuff a month ago without issue. For the transmission lines use ATF as a lubricant.

Thanks all the good advice. Where did you source your mounting plate. Looked tonight and easy to find for other models but not for the X5.

I got mine off Rock Auto. The brand was 'Vaico'. I've used a few items from them in the past and they've been fine.

Parts that will need replacing multiple times through it's life come from https://www.fcpeuro.com/
www.rockauto.com is also a good source. Sometimes, they have clearance sales. You can pick up a lot of smaller parts for cheap. The sell name brands too.

For which engine? There are at least 7 different engine variations for the e53!
