Just thought I'd mention I installed the Zomk LED tail lights (which had a SONAR stamp on them, so they are the same?) and they work great on my 2001. Very nice. I'd love to get a LED turn signal bulb, but that will require resistors and I'm not interested in doing that right now. I did use a Solaris bulb from Bimmian.com and they work well for the turn signals.
Very nice mod, and for the price, the tail lights are good quality. We'll see if they last a few years...I always have the OEMs as spares
