Which coolant pipe? N62 content
A.G.A. - the most expensive, maybe the best? (has Viton O-ring) Bimmerpipe is the 2nd as price reference URO pipe is the 3d in terms of price. I am interested in the quality of these collapsible pipes. I know AGA makes good quality parts, but if URO is also a good quality part that will outlast the vehicle, I'd rather save a few hundred bucks. If the URO O-rings aren't up to snuff, I'd rather buy the AGA or the Bimmerpipe - I really don't want to re-do this job twice. The OEM coolant transfer pipe holds up to about 100k miles or so. Any of these above brands should hold up at least as long. Is there anybody who has these for more than 100 k miles?

Go w/ the Uro
The pipes hidden so who cares how pretty the other brands are.It cost less simple design and you don't have to worry about over tightening the o-rings .

I believe AGA actually patended it if i recall right. Id go with them just for the reason they know their n62s especially making tool for valve seals which sinplifies the job so much. Yes seals still could have been done without pulling heads but its a bunch of tools most diyers dont have and they made it simple diy-able.

The thing with URO is, their O-rings are not Viton. Not sure how long they will last. If they do the same job as the OEM, it's a futile exercise. You'll be doing it again. But the thing is: I don't know what their O-rings material is. And it's not about aesthetics...

stay away from URO pipe, I have URO pipe install and less than 2 months, it is leaking worst than before. Thought it was the rear engine coolant passage, paid $1200 to get it replaced but mechanic found out the leak was from valley pan again. now I am ordering AGA pipe.

I installed MTC pipe in December 2013, but only put 13000 miles since installation. So far no issues. It is made of stainless steel. $150 on Amazon.

i am thinkin this kit on amazon. 130. Stainless. Any other seals i should be buying? I am up in the air on intake gaskets. Lots of oem ones are better used than the replacements. I found this out reusing oem neopreme tranny pan gaskets over the years. A used in good shape one is better than a new cork one. Any other suggestions.
