Red Caliper Covers

Anyone tried this Brembo Red Caliper Cover product? I always wanted red calipers, but didn't want to paint them or spend the $ to upgrade.

Thumbs up

Those covers look pretty nice! All the way from Thailand though. You have to use silicone what if it melts. Not sure if I would ever buy something from that far. If you are interested in caliper covers Bavarian "Bavauto.com"they sell two different types of caliper covers they will tell you for sure if it fits your Bimmer or not .They also sell the real Brembos Gran Turismo, for the X they go $8000 Shipped. It's a pretty good company to do business.Check them out.

Interesting, but can you imagine what would happen if the "Sony Silicone Glue" gives it up?

It would be a little worse than the baseball card in the bicycle spokes

I have been buying stuff from Bavauto for years now, and I can vouch that they are a good outfit. Didn't really want to spend $8000 for the brake upgrades though. I think you can get them for a better price than that elsewhere also.

These red caliper covers look pretty good, it does say it can be attached by bolts and nuts, rivets too, not only by glue. BTW, I agree with you on not using the glue.

Paint them. It is easy and cheap and you won't worry like you will with this Thai junk.

If you do not want to paint them yourself, take it to a local shop and pay them the money that you would spen on those "covers."

I bet that silicone stuff will not have the longevity that a simple paint job will.
