Was it immediate? I replaced mine last week and have experienced no problems on a 2002 3.0 with 98800 miles

did you put the dampener back on correctly? the 8 or so torx screws, i would make sure thats not off its mark and tightened down like you would lug nuts on a wheel.
also see if the vibration goes away when you remove the mechanical fan. if you stored the fan flat then all the fluid in the clutch could have leaked out causing a problem. remove that and see. one more thing, but prob not the cause. did you bleed the cooling system properly? i'd imagine that air in some of the lines can some problems. (prob not consistent or even that noticeable.)

Yeah it was immediate. I bled the cooling system properly. I actually worked around the dampener, it was not removed. The fan was stored upright not flat. I will reopen and check all the screws are torqued right tonight. Thanks for the quick responces.

Interesting, I just had mine replaced within the last 500 miles and have had NO issues. I have a little over 63k on the clock and my water pump was fine, I just chose to replace it, the hoses and belts as routine maintenance. I heard too many horror stories around here of the water pump going during highway driving and that was enough to prompt me to replace it. Please post the results if you resolve your problem.

I have never seen this issue in my whole time at the dealer... I would suspect the alignment pin in the main pulley to be off alignment, so check that first. But that would cause a more consistant vibration that wouldn't matter if it were in reverse.
Can you note down the exact conditions of the vibration and what affects it in what ways?
