I think your bored and can't think of anything smart to do with your money. 50K spent on a depreciating asset. You already have a 05 4.4.

Dude, if he wants to buy the 4.8 because he likes it, what is it to you?
How do you know what his $$ situation is.

If we were all thinking with our pocket books alone and not the pleasures we get from our BMW's then we would be driving honda's and keeping them for 10 plus years.


I say buy the 4.8is.

I wouldn't do it. To me its one of those things if you were "to do again" you might do differently, but I couldn't justify the loss I'd take on the 4.4L only to go to a one year newer (but still used) 4.8L. Maybe, maybe, I could justify it if I were going to an E70, but I drive my vehicles into the ground to get the most out of my money so I personally still wouldn't - regardless of how much money I have. Just a poor financial decision IMO.
