I solved this problem by decoding the LCM to euro standart. Cause in cars suited for non american use you can switch on high beams together with the fog lights.

I was thinking it only needs a link between the high beam relay & the fog lamp relay? At worst it'd need a relay between them to stop high beam coming on when the fogs were switched on. Also it could be switchable to reset to factory settings for MOT time or whatever?
Just thought it might have been done on here before. |

A programmer that did the operation used INPA software.

you mean NCS. the correct string is FL_UND_NSW_NICHT_GLEICHZ nicht_aktiv set it to FL_UND_NSW_NICHT_GLEICHZ aktiv FL - Low Beam UND - And NSW - Front Fog Lamps NICHT - Not GLEICHZ - Together dont know if it still works, but it worked on my e39. go to retrofit coding via e32 on progman, and select e53, and select rear fog lamps, and the coding will be set to active. |
