2 Down 3 to go before and after pics

Hi folks, just completed my first 2 mods on my beloved e53 4.4i. One thing is still need to address is CV axle, is there a DIY on this? plus the x5 shakes when accelerating slowly but it only shakes temporarly. I think this shaking and the clunk noise are both related to cv axle (i had replaced cv boots couple months ago).Name: IMG_0475.jpg

Notes on installation:
Headlights was a straight forward install. Just had remove the four screws and trim on each headlight. The P53 i bought for Aus$600 shipped were already modified to take D2S bulb so no problem there. The leveling motors seems to be working fine.

Skid plate was also very easy to install and comes with everything you need. The only thing you have to be carefull of is the drilling. I drilled holes exactly the same size as the diameter of the self sxpanding ram nuts provided. I did not use any super glue and so no problems.

Hi, I bought both the items, i.e headlights and skid plate from ebay. The lights come with AE. The seller was from Taiwan. It costed me around $600 shipped and arrived with a week and were easy to install. The skid plate costed me around US$290 inclusive of shipment from US and it also took a week to arrive and pretty simple to install.

I went for a drive tonight and one of the headlight low beam is pointing slightly downwards. Is there an easy way to adjust it.
Oh i just found the solution for adjusting the headlight throw.
Any help in the other matter, CV axle replacement DIY and vibration would be appreciated.
thanks in advance.

Nice one Mogm,
Love the lights and the skid plate. I'm also probably going to use the same ones you got.
Well done.

Thanks for all the info guys, and to answer anas question, yes i had factory xenon so the installation was pretty straight forward no cutting or any adaptors needed. You will need to specifiy before you buy whether you have halogens or xenon. My advice would be to buy from ebay seller known as dynamic horse, pretty fast shipment great price and customer service. i bought from the same guy. good luck.
