Maybe but to be honest they not look out of place and no diesel deposits get expelled onto the car due to be out a little more that say a 4.8i. It was the best option i think for a diesel to have the tail pipes coming through the bumpers. The look is what i wanted and i happy with it. Just saving up for my new Alloys but stilll undecided.

Nice looking X you got there, very clean n tidy. Love that rear end look with 4.8 tips (on a diesel).
Gotta agree with MD & Bimmer Ese - leave the rims alone. They look great, awsome, sick, filthy, unreal and of course titz. Slightly biased over here, having the same rims myself
