Four years ago when I purchased the vehicle I removed it to hardwire my valentine and it was a nonevent, put a screwdriver in there and it pops out. Now I am having a problem, I couldn't get it out the traditional way so I popped out the garage door opener and reached in trying to push it out that way. I am able to press the right clip in and get it to release (though I accidentally called bmw assist twice), however the left clip will not release Has anyone encountered a similar issue? |

Do a search on interior LED's and you'll see a pic of the light unit in question after removal. Npte where the clips are and insert a flat blade screwdriver to the clip you can't release, should come straight out. Go easy and don't break anything. GL
