BMW GT1 Diagnostic Tester

I’m new to the group and I’m looking for input’s and comment’s on the BMW GT1 Diagnostic Test Set.
I’m one step away from ordering it from Yohotech.
I have been in contact with Helen in sales and she has answered several of my questions.
I have also been in contact with site member Twinspoppa (Jose) via PM and he was also very helpful.

There are 4 BMW’s in the family. My wife has a 2004 330I with 11000 miles on it. If you read between the lines you can see I’m not allowed to drive it. (hi-hi)
I just picked up a used 2006 X5 with 43000 miles on it.
My son has a 2006 330I and a 2005 X5 so at some point in time I except to be troubleshooting a problem or two.

The GT1 now comes with DIS V55 and SSS V32.
The software is supplied on disks and can be run using the VmWare Player.
I have a copy of VmWare Work Station which I intend to use instead of the player.
I intend on installing the software on a Dell XPS Laptop.
