Laser Interceptor has the most advanced jammer by far.... they use laser diodes in their heads which are way more powerful than the LED's everyone else is using. The Blinder in my X5 and Escort jammer in my Carrera S have both saved me on several occasions. But if I were installing a new system it would be a dual front and rear Laser Interceptor. If you do a search... you may be able to find my post a while back, with pics, of my setup on the X5.

Thanks for the response. I just bought 2 blinder systems on ebay for cheap. I am going to put these on my work truck and my RX7 and get the interceptor for my X5.

Have you been hit with laser from behind? I have only seen them shoot from the front.

They can get you from behind, but not as common. About 10% of hits will be from the rear... also depends where you live. I believe it's happened to me twice in the Carrera, which luckily has rear protection.

No I'm not the kind of idiot that drive slow in the fast lane, I pretty much stay in the right lane when I drive on the higway, but there is still a bunch of moron that stick in your arss or flash you because you follow speed. I have 2 kids that still need me for many year to come, so I rather want to put all the chance on my side. Following speed limit allow you to see what happen around you, when you drive fast the reaction time is close to none, but just enough time to see there is nothing you can do.

I know there is plenty of people that drive slow in the fast lane and that can be very dangerous, I'm not a frustrated person but rather someone who lost 2 friends over the year... One died at 18, he was speeding and lost control of his car, this crash was particularly nasty, specially when I had to identify my best friend dead & dismember at the morgue. The other one was trying his new Carrera on the highway, he blew a tire at 250km/hr and brought innocent people with him. I mean he had a Carrera with 400$/ tire, anyway one thing for sure he will never do that mistake again.

I didn't want to throw any moral here, just share some though & common sense. If you think & care about the one you love, or simply think that you can take someone else live because of stupid behavior, this alone should trigger something positive in your brain. As always I suggest people to go on a race track and beat the heck out of your ride, that should please you ego and prevent you from getting ticket, otherwise you can spend your life hiding and running.

Have a good one.
