20 " OEM 87 or replica 214
I have a set of used 20" OEM style 87 wheels with micheline tires good for another two season on hand, and a new set of 20" replica style 214 with brand new toyo proxes tires on. The price for the replicas adds up to about 1969 bucks, and the oem just about the same. They are both stag wheels with 275 in the front, and 315 in the back. The used wheels are evenly worn, and there are not any scuffs of any sort.. Is the oem so much better then the replicas that i should go for them, eventhough they are used.? Or should i just get a brand new set of replica wheels and tires.? I'd love to hear what you guys think.. |

You should sell me the 87s and keep the others for yourself.

I agree.. But i was looking for an advice wether the OEM's are worth more then the replicas even when used... Regardless whisch style they are.If the replicas handles just as good, and look just as good, i guess its a matter of opinion if i preferr to get the 214 or 87 and if id like new tires on the wheels. |

Thanks jay jay.
I do not have any experiance with replicas.. But i understand that OEM's would be of better quality.. However, its a matter of new rims and tires versus old rims and tires.. I guess i need to decide this for myself, but where looking for some input.. |

Never mind.
Jus discovered that the 87 are not OEM either.. Then the choice is easy.. New 214 with new tires.. |
