just got the LED tail lights in today. i began installing them when, of course, issues had to come up:

(tailgate parts installed with no problems)

1. left drivers side has a chip on it (not a big deal, can wait for replacement)
- it appeared to be flickering but then again theres too much sun out there too know for sure. i'll check again at night. if they still are i'm sure capacitors will fix that issue.

2. right passengers side tail light does not light up at ALL. NOTHING! one of the pins is half pushed in and the other is not even there. zomk speed is supposedly sending another set in 5 days.. we'll see.

Frustrating.

Hi All,

This is my first post I've been reading up , great forum! , had my X5 for 2 weeks so far

I've just installed LED tail lights , I bought these (382's for the rear tail / brake light);

382 - 360 degree LED Extreme Power 5W - NEW! 382 LED Bulbs LED Bulbs 12V Autobulbs...

as they are 5w they do not require any resistors and come fitted with a heatsink at the end superb peice of kit, I'll now buy two more to replace the second set of tail lights.

It's very simple simple unclick the rear and plug in! no resistors required

I've also upgraded the spot lights to 55w H1's Ice blue, these give twice the light output and more closely match the factory HID's

H1 ABD Xenon Extreme White bulbs (pair) H1 Bulbs Upgrade Xenon Headlight Bulbs...

I now just need to change the Angel Eye bulbs to a Lighter / Blue effect or LED so will keep reading on!

Firstly,
Welcome to this great site. Secondly, could we see day and night time pics of these bulbs in action please?

Happy motoring
