Question about Servotronic

Hello everyone, this is my first post here, and I'm looking at buying a CPO X5. My question is about the Servotronic steering......I was told that it lightens up the trademark BMW heavy steering. I'm wondering if this is the case, and if it is, is it always lighter/more-assisted? Or on the highway at higher speeds will it actually tighten up more than normal X5 steering? I have 2 other BMWs and love the heavy-tight steering, and am worried that I may not like the car because of the servotronic, which many seem to come equiped with. Your help and opinions are greatly appreciated.

I have the servotronic steering on my 03 4.6is and love it, but drive normal/conventional steering 3.0i and 4.41 X5s daily at work. My suggestion to you would be to drive both and make your personal decision from there. You can find an X5 with either, so if the steering feel of servotronic isn't to your liking you can find another CPO without it. (unless you are really wanting the 4.6/4.8is models )
