Rear DVD system on eBay

Was looking at this OEM BMW system on eBay. It has beige leather and I have the Truffle brown...anyone have experience getting them re-covered? Or keep looking...

BMW E53 X5 OEM DVD HEADREST KIT - - eBay (item 260412502753 end time May-24-09 18:45:22 PDT)

Thanks

I'd go with the Invision set up and you could probably get them in Truffle Brown. Plus you aren't locked into both monitors watching one DVD. With the Invision each headrest is its own DVD player.

Calling Captain Acedeucy.....

I agree with jsears. For not that much more money you can get a better system, that's brand new, and comes with a full warranty. Not only is BMW's system technically inferior to an Invision setup in numerous ways, but buying used electronics for a car might bite you back in the butt. For example if the BMW DVD player craps out (and who knows how well it's presently functioning anyway) the replacement MSRP is $990. Contact Acedeucy and he'll help you out with a setup that has a ton of board members satisfied to date.

I agree. Plus, with the Invision set up you get the opportunity to play different formatted media (MP3s, etc...) which cannot be done with that old Visualogic system. Lastly, if you go with Invision, you'll get a four year warranty and excellent customer service, which I think is worth ponying up the extra cash.

I'm gonna 3rd that. Going with used electronics is always a gamble. Ebay can save a few $$$ but turn into a huge hassel if things don't work out.
