Question How to remove climate control buttons

One of the buttons fell off the climate unit (the blue arrow button which you press when you need to lower the temperature on the display).

Now there is an old climate control unit which I can take the button from. What is the proper way to remove the buttons, as one of the buttons broke already when trying to remove it from the donour unit.

The buttons are hollow shelled, so you need to somehow squeeze the sides where it hinges on to make it slide past the little tabs that break off. This is going to a poor text version, but like so -[====]- Where the minus are the little tabs, so you need to find a way to pinch them there. My fan speed button just broke off, and since it rocks left/right the - on each side is actually on the top and bottom, so I had t pinch it top and bottm accordingly. Just know that you don't have to pull anything hard, it should just fall out.
